Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: April 9, 2026

Keller Commercial & Home Services is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to people with disabilities. We strive to provide an inclusive digital experience for all visitors, regardless of ability or technology.

Our Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

We also strive to comply with the requirements of:

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)— Title III, as applied to places of public accommodation
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act— federal accessibility standards for electronic and information technology

Steps We've Taken

To make our website as accessible as possible, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Semantic HTML: we use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes to ensure assistive technologies can interpret page structure
  • Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms, dialogs) are fully operable via keyboard
  • Focus management: visible focus indicators are provided for all focusable elements, and focus is managed appropriately in modals and dynamic content
  • Color contrast: text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Alternative text: all meaningful images include descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked appropriately
  • Responsive design: the site adapts to different screen sizes and supports text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Form accessibility: all form fields include associated labels, error messages are announced to screen readers, and required fields are clearly indicated
  • Accessible components: we use Radix UI primitives that follow WAI-ARIA patterns for dialogs, checkboxes, and other interactive elements
  • Reduced motion: animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query for users who are sensitive to motion

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some content may not yet meet every guideline. Known areas where we are working to improve include:

  • Some third-party content (embedded videos, maps, review widgets) may not be fully accessible
  • PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully screen-reader compatible
  • Older blog posts may have images without complete alt text

We are actively auditing and remediating these issues on an ongoing basis.
